Dates
The next Beccles Cycle for Life event is confirmed for May 13 2012. Advance registration is now available and will close on 05 May 2012.
Donations
The donations required to enter the 2012 event are the same as last year.
If you enter the event in the advance registration period (before 05 May), the donations required are:

Sponsorship
You will receive official sponsorship forms with your registration pack after you have entered the event. The profits from this event will be split equally between Rotary Club of Beccles Charitable Trust (Reg Charity No.1100871) and East Anglian Air Ambulance (Reg Charity No.1083876).
Free prize draw
If individual riders pay in at least £20 in sponsorship with us by 16 June 2012, they will be entered into a free prize draw for a bike - worth £300.
Distance and route
All routes start and end at Beccles Middle School. There are 5 distance options available (distance does not affect donation required):
- 7 miles
- 15 miles
- 25 miles
- 40 miles (15 + 25 miles)
- 50 miles (2 laps of 25 miles)
To help you choose a route, please note that the 15 mile route can easily be completed within 2 hours.
You can enjoy the day with the comfort of knowing that there will be plenty of support. Checkpoints spaced at regular intervals will provide refreshments and communication with base (except 7-mile route). A vehicle will be available to assist any stranded riders. The Inner Wheel Club of Beccles will be selling light refreshments at Beccles Middle School in aid of Inner Wheel charities.
Medals
When you check in at the finishing line, we mark your support by presenting every pre-booked rider who completes one basic route with a medal and certificate to confirm the distance cycled. We are unable to guarantee a medal or a year bar for riders who register on the day.
